MERRY CHRISTMAS !

There will be a children's Christmas Party specially for our academy's Ballerinas.
Siblings, friends and relatives are welcomed but please do notify us at least 2 days IN ADVANCE so that we are prepared with enough gifts to go around and also to avoid overcrowding ourselves.

There will be light refreshments, GAMES to play and PERFORMANCES. Come PREPARED to have fun.

They are coming back! No more excuse for those who missed it the last time. Men In Tutus promotions are out. No doubt tickets will be sold out soon.

We are going to watch the performance by Dancework Production, Carmen & Paquita. Highly anticipated as it involves awards and medal winners of various international competitions. Artists are from Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Malaysia.

picaBot eVo2

Dear all. We have added something new to our "collection" of health gadgets to prevent the spread and infection of the influenze A H1N1 virus, and also of course for your comfort knowing that we take our studio very seriously for everyone's sake.

Its the picaBot eVo2 floor cleaning robot. Why did we choose to invest in that thing? and Why a picaBot?

Well because the chore of cleaning and disinfecting the whole studio (even the mirrors) by means of vacuum, mop and wiping all surfaces IS REALLY EXHAUSTING, and our cleaner hasn't been well. So now. Not only do we benefit and appreciate the extra help, we can clean MORE OFTEN.

We choose the picaBot because we were quite satisfied that it is built with the nanotech Corvan Photocatalytic Floor Disinfection System (Corvan APT®) that cleanse the floor of allergy and sickness causing microbes like dust mites, germs and viruses.

If you are at the studio and picaBot is working, please PLEASE do not disturb it. Let it do its work. THANK YOU. We appreciate it very much.

Carlos Garcia Workshop

To all dancers who participated in our Carlos Garcia Workshop,

THE workshop was a SUCCESS, Thanks to YOUR SUPPORT and PARTICIPATION.

Carlos thought that you were all doing well, especially towards the END of the workshop when you all "warmed up" to him and was more relaxed. The more you speak and ask him questions the better for you and him. Don't be afraid of him. He may scream at you but won't bite you.
So what, Who cares? We are all here to learn right?

Hahaa... Hey, remember "What can't kill you makes you STRONGER" ?

Also his advice is,... BE SERIOUS.

If you really want to be good you need to have the proper mindset and right attitudes.

To all teachers, thank you for sharing the experience with your students. Your PRESENCE and SUPPORT for your girls was really COOL and AWESOME.

Carlos may be back again in December. Hope to see you all again.

Alas.... Here are some of the photos taken on our night out to watch the Men In Tutus performance at KLPAC in May.

We had a GREAT time, good laughs and loads of fun especially while waiting for the dancers to come out to get their signatures. I was really surprised and really happy to see some of my quiet girls break loose and enjoyed themselves. Highly recommended for those who missed it.

Come and watch a great dance showdown. The competition is FREESTYLE meaning there will be groups performing and showcasing different styles of dance. Great time to watch, learn and BE INSPIRED.

Book Clearance Fair

There will be a book clearance fair at the Hartamas Shopping Centre.

Electrolux Air Purifier

As the H1N1 flu virus becomes more worrying we feel that constantly sanitising and disinfecting our dance floors, barres, door knobs and such is no longer adequate. Therefore for more assurance we have now added an Electrolux Purity air purifier.

Many days was spent scouring the internet for information on air purifiers and its technologies. Finally we decided on the Electrolux. If you are interested to know why (we kept most of the important web links and pages for reference) feel free to ask us for it. Eye opening and educational.

PLEASE be conscious of your personal hygiene and the people around you. Wear a mask when necessary and use a hand sanitiser often. We even provide you with one at the studio but kids,.. dont play with it PLEASE. THANK YOU!

CARLOS GARCIA WORKSHOP

Dear ballet fans,

As most of you already know we will be hosting an exclusive workshop conducted by a world class dancer, CARLOS GARCIA at our academy this coming school holiday. You will definitely remember and know him better if you watched the Men In Tutus by the dance company Les Ballets Grandiva at KLPAC last MAY 2009. An EXCELLENT and GREAT performance.

Below are the time schedule and details of the workshop just in case you and your friends are not aware of it. Also please do comeback to our blog often to have the most recent and updated information and schedule.
